A little while ago, I posted a photo of a smocked ladybug insert. Today I finished the jumper, sleeveless dress that I made the insert for. This is a gift for my daughter's friend's baby. The new mother just loves ladybugs and while she was pregnant I promised her that if she had a girl, I'd make her something with ladybugs on it. I made the jumper in an 18 month size so that Cece can wear it next summer and into the fall with a t-shirt under it.
I'm sure that dress will be well-worn and well-loved!
