March's quilt block is complete. It is hand appliqued and hand embroidered. I really enjoyed making this block. The large wing is made from a batik fabric that I considered and reconsidered but used it in the end because it picked up the colors of the other fabrics. The quilt also has pieced blocks but I'm having too much fun with the applique blocks to start on the pieced ones.
My next project is my March BJP. I kind of have my ideas together and will start working on the project this afternoon. The end of the month is coming quickly so I better get to it.
I think this is my favorite of your quilt blocks so far. I love the little embroidered heart strings. The batik is perfect -- very, very pretty!
