My two year old granddaughter loves Elmo. When I saw this Elmo fabric I had to buy it and make her a summer outfit. This pattern reminded me of the crossover dresses that I made for my daughter when she was that age. I followed the pattern for the top but took out lots and lots of fullness and length in the pants.
This is the most adorable fabric! And what you did with the pattern is so perfectly updated. I love the added touch of rick-rack, and it looks so comfortable. I'm sure she loves it!
