Yesterday I started this block and today I completed it. This is the first pieced block I've made for this quilt. It was difficult to match all of the stripes. In fact, I made two extra blocks before I did these. I think that I like doing the applique blocks much more than the pieced one.
I like the repeating fabrics in this block. The challenges you had with it will become a distant memory when put in with all the others, especially the applique blocks that you enjoyed making so much. I'm looking forward to seeing the entire quilt! It will be lovely.
